I want to look at my 5k run from September 2016. I want to see all the details. The only way I found to do this, was to scroll all the way back by date. Is there a faster way to search a specific date in the past to see the DETAILS of an activity?

Are you trying to pull up the details on your phone or the Fitbit Dashboard? I ask because you can go directly to any date when you use the Dashboard.

hello shipo, I am on my PC using the dashboard. I can search any date for the summary info, but the activity details do not have an easy search button by date.

Hmmm, I just brought up my Dashboard page for 29-Apr-2017 (the day of my first run with my then new Surge), and the Run activity for that day shows up on the page; I clicked on it and got the full details. Maybe you're missing the "Recent Exercise" tile on your Dashboard page; if so, readd it and you'll be good to go.

my dashboard has today's date at the top, which does not allow you to select any date in the past. it has an arrow only to go back, one day by day! below that is a recent exercise box. it shows the last 3 days of activity. i press on that box, and get a 2 part page. The top part [summary of excersizes] can be searched by any day, but the bottom part, which is a list of detailled activities, only shows 10 activities, with a "show 10 more" button.. I had to back up a year with this "show 10 more" button to get to 2016. I'll keep trying to find the way, I am sure there is a way.

@ETHj, if you go to your Dashboard and click on Yesterday's view, you'll see the URL line changes to include a date. Once you get there all you need to do is to substitute the date on the URL line with the date you're looking for history for and press return. Then you'll see the activity for that day.

You could always click the word today, it brings up a form to choose a day.

This only works with some browsers.

It should work with any compliant browser, in general an MS browser will not work with all www standards. Not sure which browser is being used.
