I have the same problem. I bought my Surge first of all to monitor my sleep (with which I have problems). But every morning when I wake up it takes me up to 30-45 minutes of hard effort to have the Surge synced and connected to my Galaxy S6 and to show me my last night sleep. It looks like at least in this respect Surge is totally worthless and I paid $250 just for a basic watch.
I am really upset.
I can sync and connect with my desk top. But with app on my Galaxy S6 it is a total disaster. Every morning begins with a spoiled mood.
Def not what I expected.

I've moved your question about the Surge into the Surge forum, it was in the Cjargge HR area.

Thank you!
Today it took me almost three hours to get the last night readings! I tried everything. Restartarted my phone. Restarted my Surge. Turned off and on bluetooth. Uninstalled and re installed the app. In three hours I was able to see that I slept six hours and a half. I am retired so I can afford to spend hours every day trying to establish the connection. But what about younger people who must go to work?
The product itself is good. Only the band cracks and breaks very fast. But the app - is a total mess. I have the feeling that the person who is in charge for the app for Android is not qualified for this job. India?
