Resting heart rate tracking

Hello! I've had my Fitbit Surge for about a week now and I love it. The only problem is there has only been one day that the app has tracked the full day even though I wear it all the time. The appl pretty much only shows my heart rate while I sleep, but not during the daytime. Help please?

It may be how you are wearing the unit.  See the help info here and maybe the suggestions will help.

I've already read that. I'm sedentary all day because of my desk job, so I
wear it one finger width above my wrist bone. In the morning after I wake
up I listen to music through bluetooth speakers. It seems after about that
time it never starts tracking in the app. (However the watch itself is
always current and accurate)
