Satalite connection time

On my actual surge I click “run”, then “free run” and it always takes 10 to sometimes half an hour to connect to a satalite or whatever. I don’t want to sit around that long waiting for it to connect so I can go on a run. Any help would be appreciated!

That really depends on where you are at. Weather conditions etc.
