Purchased Fitbit surge in April and use it on a daily basis. Over past 3 weeks screen has been developing internal condensation and not responding to swipe as well as freezing unable to go between screens!! This seems to happen after exercise and on wearing to bed - when wakening screen steamed up unable to read or use!! any help ? I have emailed Fitbit support.....
Disappointed as had issues with fitbit charge HR so decided to upgrade to surge and 6 months on issues again!!!!!

Hi, @Juramaggie, I am sure Customer Support will get back to you with a solution for this, but in the meantime you might want to put your Surge in a bag of rice and leave it for 24 hours or so. This should dry out the condensation inside and get you back up and going again while you are waiting for a more permanent solution.

@Juramaggie Your Surge has a bad seal. It is defective. If it's still under warranty it should be replaced at no charge. Putting it in uncooked rice should draw the moisture out, but with the defective seal the moisture will always return. Good luck.

I’m having that exact issue with mine. I have not contacted Fitbit but I’m curious what the issue is.

Ive been having the same issues recently with my versa! I'm on vacation and the weather is hotter and have gone on some. Hikes with it on and I've noticed issues with it recharging. I've put it in rice which seems to be taking the condensation away slowly but worried if I charge it might cause more issues.
How did you get in touch with fit bit? Mine is definitely under warranty I've had it about 6 months only.
