Screen went blank

Purchased the surge in January of 2015 and unfortunately the screen went completely blank yesterday. I can tell that the watch is charged since the alarm is still going off but nothing is displaying on the screen. Wasn't expecting for this to happen especially after investing in a watch that has a hefty price!

In the hope this may be a software glitch you could try restarting the Surge using this procedure:

https://help.fitbit.com/articles/en_US/Help_article/1186/

Give it a few tries though as it doesn't always work first time.

If that doesn't fix it then it's probably a hardware issue. If you live within the EU then you will still be covered by the 2 year warranty (outside the EU it is just 1 year) and should contact customer support:

Maybe you bumped the watch somewhere?

I haven't had mine for too long but I don't think the quality of the screen is that good... Meaning that if you touch it with a little force it might break but I am not sure yet.

However, I doubt that the issue could occur from a random bump. Hope you can find a way to resurrect your device and start using it again
