Welcome to the Forums @alrjr! Hope you're doing great! You can reset your Fitbit Surge Time Zone on your mobile device, by opening the Fitbit App > Account > Advance Settings >Time Zone. If the Time Zone is set on "Automatic" the next synchronization should help your Surge to take the same date from your phone.
You can also do it from the Fitbit.com Dashboard on the computer or your phone browser. Once you have logged in into your Account > Select Settings > Time Zone.
Remember that to keep updating your Fitbit Surge time, you need to sync at least once a week. To sync check this steps or you can also sync from a computer.
Please post back if you need more help! Have a good one!
