I realized now that my new surge with pulsemeter, sleeptracker and alarm function does not have a "smart" alarm for waking me up when I am lightly asleep. For example I want to wake up at the latest 07:00 and not earlier than 06:00. Then all the functions mentioned above would cooperate and wake me up within the interval set by me when I am lightly asleep.
I actually took for granted that my Surge could do this out of the box...

how do you define, precisely : "lightly asleep" ?

No need to "precisely" define lightly asleep in a comment. It would be very useful to have an alarm to wake up when not in deep slow-wave-sleep, which could be accomplished by movement and heart rate detection.
