It worked fine until two days ago. It's working for bike as it logged quite accurately a ride today (though the average HR was 47bpm lower than a Polar chest strap and subsequently the calorie count way off) .
It has just stopped working for walking. I have reset the Surge, I have checked settings that the activity is ticked.
Any ideas what else I can do to restart this? I know the steps still log etc but I like a history of specific activities, the only solutions are GPS every time if I remember and kill the battery quicker or swap to the new Garmin as this strap is knackered too on my second Surge.
I'm struggling to stay loyal at this point...

Hello again @Chris1963. I didn't noticed there was another post from you. Seems like your Surge is a little stubborn. Well if you already tried with a restart and is not working I would recommend you try the restart again a few more times. Now if definitely is not working try to set your Surge as a new device on your existing account. Just make sure to sync your tracker before you do this, otherwise your data will be lost.
The process is the same as you did the first time, just this time instead of choosing the option of creating a new account, use the same account you already have and if you do this with the mobile app; select the option to replace your tracker on the device options and selecting the "+" icon.
After you do this the issue persist, then my final suggestion, is to reach our Support Team and let them know of your efforts to troubleshoot the issue and what you've already done. I have full faith that they will be able to advise you of the next steps after reviewing your device history with you.
