Steps Vs. Miles

I'm sure this has been covered before, but I have something funky going with my steps/miles ratio. So far today, I have about 1,000 more steps than all of yesterday, but I have about 1/2 mile less. I'm an engineer that works in manufacturing and I've been working on the shop floor today, could it be that it's picking up more arm movement and interpreting it as steps or something?

Yes that is very possible. That is one of the problems with wrist models.

I have it set differently as I spend a lot of time on the floor as well.

I wear it on my Dominant arm but have it set to Non Dominant. Works better for me.
