Stolen Device.

I bought this to begin new years resolution of losing weight and being more active. Great idea right? Apparently some jerk at my diner of choice that evening decided this wasn't the thing for me to do, so he took it for himself. Since I had JUST bought it, I didn't realize the device was missing out of the box in my backseat until I had gotten home, about 3 hours later.

I have no information on the device, as the receipt was stolen as well. I'll never see my money or my device again. And I am not happy.

What can I do to reconcile? Will customer support help me? Or am I royally screwed?

Yes. I reported to my local pd. The diner we ate at has no cameras so there is no way of catching the jerk. The one time I forgot to lock my doors with only one thing in my car, I get screwed out of a hefty amount of money and a neat fitness tracker. Help?

@vstarkey,

You may check with your credit card company.  For instance, American Express offers 90 days of protection vs. accidental damage or theft.  See if they can do something about it.

I hope this helps.
