I am at a loss as to why this keeps happening to the bands. They delaminate form the face and bubble up.
How come this issue keeps happening you would think that they would resolve it one way or the other.

They don't care, simply stated. I've gone through 9 surges all of which had the same problem.

@Foreverlookin Amazon and E-bay sell aftermarket bands for the Surge. YouTube has the "How to" videos. There will likely be no updates or changes to the Surge as it has been discontinued and replaced by the Ionic. Good luck.

@VF31AE3 How much more durable are they compared to the ones presently on my Surge? They seem to last around 2 months or so before this happens. If the replacements are more durable that would be great.

@Foreverlookin Of all the problems I've had (4 Surges just to get to 12 months) the band has not been one of them so I've not needed the replacements bands. However, other users on other threads have sworn by them as being superior. If you look on Amazon, check the customer reviews to get an idea of what you can expect.

Im on my 3rd surge in 13 months because of this same issue. I just bought extra bands and band/faceplate covers on amazon. I told them (fitbit customer service) it's ridiculous to spend this kind of money on something that falls apart.

Thanks guys I bought the extended plan so I will be filing a claim and typically Walmart just sent me a check for the purchase price. I will deside if I'm going to look at their latest or look else where.
