I know that I am not the only one having the same issue with these cheap bands on the Surge and other models. I have had my original Surge replaced now 15 months later the same issue the band is falling apart and they offer the 25% discount. This is a design flaw and a defect that FITBIT should address.
If anyone know of anything being done as a group please let me know. Not happy with having to buy a new tracker every year.
Thanks for any input

Mine is bubbling up and warping. This watch is too expensive to be having this issue!

I contacted their customer service department and got a replacement. Have you contacted them?

My Surge has been replaced twice, for the same thing - cheap band falling apart. The latest time was in February. The current band has not even lasted 6 months! They are offering 25% off "as a courtesy". My problem with this is that they are saying the new (replacement items) fall under the original Surge's warranty. This makes NO sense.

I agree. I actually replaced mine with the Blaze and gave Them the suggestion to never make a Fitbit without changeable bands. I hope I don't run into any problems with this one!

I did run into problems. They will not replace. I am going to order an
after-market band and replace it myself, but will buy another fitbit. 😞
