Greetings .. I read that cycling data is automatically detected and recorded, as in my steps. This doesn’t seem to be the case as I have learned that I must go to the online display (not the app) and manually input the time, distance, etc.  My question is .. is there a setting that will automatically read/register my pedalling strokes? Thank you .. Tony

Auto detecting cycling is hit or miss. It's tough for the tracker to know whether your are riding or just sitting with an elevated heart rate. Why not start the exercise right from the Surge? Make sure cycling is listed as one of the exercises first on your Surge. You can see if it is by going to your dashboard on the website, clicking on the gear in the upper right and then on the Surge. I think it is mid way down the page.
