I use Yosemite 10.10.5 on my iMac 27", My new Surge syncs with my iPhone 6S and everything works well. But not on my Mac. Keeps searching and then says try again.
Can find people with the same problem on this forum but no answers.

I believe that, despite Bluetooth being a standard thing, your Surge will only connect to that little USB device that came with it (as opposed to the iMac's built-in Bluetooth). If you want to sync it with a computer you will have to use that.
I also think that you have to pick either your phone or your computer. I've never tried to pair with my comptuer so if anyone says otherwise please disregard this comment, but I'm pretty sure there's a restriction about that.
I personally sync with my iPhone and just go to the online dashboard rather than the app on my MacBook.

Forgot to mention but I already do use the dongle and even if I (as suggested as a solution) disable Bluetooth on my iPhone it wo'nt work. I understand that it must be possible to use both the Mac and the iPhone.
