Surge Heart Rate has become inaccurate during exercise.

My resting HR is on average 68-72 bps. I've noticed the last few times I've visited the Gym when on the Treadmill my Surge will say it's mid 70's after I've been running for a few minutes and the treadmill will say it's 110. It has always been on par in the past with what the machine is saying, usually 2/3 bps difference but now it's about 30 bps different. Has anyone else had this problem?

@Howell13 A warm welcome to our Fitbit Community! Seems odd that your Fitbit Surge is not tracking your heart rate accurately. I'd like to know if you are wearing your Surge too tight and if it's right on your wrist. In the meantime, restart your Surge as advised in Meylin's post.

Looking forward to your response my friend! Smiley Happy

Thank you, and thanks for the reply.
I've just restarted it so will see if that makes any difference to it.
I wear it exactly as in the guidelines, if I wore it in the next notch on the strap it would be too loose and move about.
It only seems to be when I'm exercising that it's different, I checked it with my BP monitor and my resting heart rate was the same.

Thanks again for your help.
