Surge Home screen suggestion

I'm fairly new to Fitbit so i apologize in advance if this has arisen in the past. I bought the surge mainly because of the functions and HR it has, oh and the fact it has a strap that won't fall off whilst i'm at work.

I must say though that i'm disappointed in the fact the home screen doesn't show time and HR like it's misleading advert does. I know this feature is part of the running App, but i kind of feel cheated as that was the yes factor for me to pay 147 pounds for a black vibrating strap that reminds me i'm fatter than i should be; and to get moving!!!

Hope you're having a good day @Manclegend. Welcome to the Forums! Cat Very Happy

Thanks a million for the feedback. Sorry you feel that way, Fitbit is always trying to help users to stay motivated towards fitness goals. At this moment we don't have an option for you to see the HR and time all the time, as you know it is something that the display will show in exercise mode. Robot Embarassed

We've received this request already, I found this idea in our Feature Suggestions board: HR on the main screen/display with time and date. Add your votes and comments here. This board is constantly being reviewed by our devs to make sure we are delivering on what our customers need. Fitbit is always striving to improve! Smiley Happy

I have read bunches of post saying that people are unhappy about not being able to see their heart rate always--on the home screen with the clock. I definitely have the same disappointment! The advertisement has it on the screen with the clock, so I don't even know if I can buy a different fitbit that has this feature. Since the surge advertisement was misleading--are the other fitbit ads also misleading? or is there a fitbit that I can buy that will display the heart rate at all times--along with the clock?

Thanks for taking a break from stepping @dig221It's great to see that you've visited the Fitbit Community! Robot Very Happy

Thanks for your comments. Sorry you feel that way about your Fitbit Surge! If you're talking about this pictures (see attach image), that's the Surge in active mode, for more information in regards clock faces you need to check the Surge manual. Even though, I appreciate the feedback since we're always trying to give better services.

If you're looking that specific option in a Fitbit, you can check the Blaze clock faces:

You can compare the rest of features in our official page. If you have any other question please let me know!
