Surge Not Syncing

Hello

 

i just received my new Surge and I have the iOS 10.3.3 and it will not do it's  initial update, so my screen still says fitbit.com/setup

 

the error is the fbbluetootherrordomain 8

Hi KaydoLynno,

I spent most of yesterday trying to get my Surge up and running. Wouldn’t work on my iPhone SE or iPad. Got the same message as yours on my Surge screen and ‘fbbluetootherrordomain 8’ on the Fitbit app, whilst trying to do new update on Surge.

It’s working now - maybe this might help you. Try connecting it to a PC (download Fitbit app) with windows 10. It took about 10 mins to update and sync the Surge. Funnily enough, it now syncs with my iPhone after setting it up with the PC.
