Surge band is cracking

My surgery band is coming apart after a littlr of 1 year of use. Is this a design flaw? I saw that other people were having the same issue but didn't see how they got it fixed. Any help would be appreciated. I purchased mine in Feb 2015

Getting this fixed depends on where you live. The warranty terms cover us for either 12 or 24 months depending on where you are (see www.fitbit.com/returns for details).

 

If you are still covered then you can contact customer support to discuss a replacement:
