Surge battery is defective

conviently my first post got deleted... I just wanted to know if anyone else was stuck with a $330 rubber band like me. Having lasted not even 16 months, my Fitbit surge is completely done. It won't charge anymore. I've tried all the resets and still nothing. Customer care offered me 25% off my next purchase which I feel is a very weak move. I used the watch only to count my steps and for my sleep patterns and still it did not last. Thank you but 25% just isn't good enough for a product that you can't stand behind. Fix my battery and maybe you'll still have a customer. Until that happens, stay away from Fitbit!

@Ivan_D Hope you're doing well, and enjoying some healthy activities! Smiley Happy

Sorry about your Fitbit Surge, Fitbit is always trying to provide great products and customer experience, I really appreciate your feedback ,this is the best way to make your voice heard.

About the information that you received, if your Surge is out of warranty as they said a replacement is not applicable, and we don't have a repair center either. I think that using a discount to get back on track with the same or a different tracker, it'd be the best option for a person that is considering staying in the Fitbit family. If it is not your case, sorry you feel this is enough but this is an option that Fitbit gives as something extra, since most of companies don't have options after the warranty ends. I understand you've invested in the Fitbit Family; however, Fitbit as any other company have policies to follow through.  While customer satisfaction remains our number one goal, the demands of running a global business require that we enforce our warranty consistently.

Hope to see you around.

Thank you for the follow up but that doesn't help my situation at all! The fact that you guys don't even have a repair centre and are only offering a 25% discount is embarrassing. I really did enjoy the surge and used it everyday for the short time that it lasted. Having read more forums about my situation I can see that I'm not the only one in this position. I just want you guys to stand by your product and rectify this problem, I am not looking to get a free/new watch, I just want my watch to work. If I had paid $100 for this I would not make a big deal of this situation but seeing that it costs over $300 and didn't even last for 15 months I need to find a solution.

Please get back to me with something that can help me

thanks,

Ivan
