Had my surge watch just over a year now and it's starting to become faulty. First the buttons and now the touch screen don't operate. Frustrating as I can only see the time. Was hoping for better quality from this product. Have done the reset but no luck in getting a result. Not happy

My Surge is well over two years old and the home button, when it works, only changes to Timer. Also, the band is almost torn off at the watch frame caused my needing to press very hard on the home button to get it to switch. AND, I have to use duct tape to keep the strap from tearing completely off at the holes. Great product concept, poor design and execution IMO.

My fit bit has done the same thing. I can’t get to my settings or my treadmill workouts. It’s like the watch is only working half the time. It’s so frustrating especially when you bought the watch to use when running and working out and only a a few options and buttons work! Help! I would like all buttons to work and to be able to have my treadmill option back!

Welcome to the Fitbit Community @TXMike and @Ahawk! I apologize for the delayed response and will be glad to assist you with your button and touch inquiry.
To fix the button issue I would recommend to clean the part of the buttons, they can have dust or dirt on them that doesn't allow proper work. You can also try restarting your device.
There are no replacement bands for the Fitbit Surge.
Please let me know how it goes.

How to clean the buttons? Unable to restart the surge because the home button does not function.

Thanks for getting back to us @TXMike! I'll be glad to assist you with your cleaning buttons inquiry.
You can clean your Surge button with a tooth brush or a tooth pick. You can also use caned air.
Thank you for letting me know that you're not able to restart since button does not function.
Let me know if you have more questions.
