My surge has not synced since Feb 8. To remedy this I tried first to reconnect the device to my phone, but the connection will not occur. It says it can find the device but will not connect. I then tried to turn the surge off and turn it back on, but it will not turn off from holding down the two buttons. I cannot access the settings menu via the home button - I can only get to the swipe right/left from the clock. None of the buttons seem to be responding correctly?

Try a restart. Do it at least 3 times.
