Surge charging cable

I recently got a surge and when I tried to set it up the charger kept coming out and wouldn't sit in there properly and now when I try to charge it the charger always falls out and I have to try and keep it in the same position as I put it down so it will still charge.... Is this normal? Thanks!

no it should click into place.
