I went out for a run two days ago and it started raining. My Surge got "water splashed" but it no longer works. The screen is blank, even after charging. Any suggestions? Can this be fixed? Or do I have to purchase a new one?

@drjaimecar FitBit's recommendation is to put your Surge in uncooked rice for a couple of days. This will draw the moisture out of the Tracker. After that happens, the functions may return. Be aware. Since it happened once it will happen again. Your Surge is faulty as this should not happen. If it is within the warranty period contact Customer Support to see about getting it replaced. Also. If you have time, browse the Surge Forum to see what other users have to say about their Surge's. You are not alone. Best of luck.

Hey, @drjaimecar, @VF31AE3! Welcome aboard. How did the suggestion of the rice go?
Did you leave it for a few days in there?
Let us know please, your tracker should resist to a water splashed.
