Surge not syncing to iPhone

I have an iPhone 6S and up until now I have had no problems with syncing. However, today, my phone will just not connect. I have installed the updates on my phone, taken the fitbit app off and reinstalled, turned the phone off and then on again and it still will not sync. Any ideas please?

I would suggest to restart your Fitbit Surge and try to force sync with this instructions, if it is not connecting, make sure that your phone is up today since yesterday the Fitbit App received a new one. After the update it's best if you turn off your phone and wait a moment before start using your Fitbit App with the given instructions.
