Surge not tracking heart, not syncing

The heart rate monitor shows only dashes...and nothing is syncing at all to the app. Any help on how to fix it? Purchased in October last year.

Have you tried a restart yet, hold in both the left and lower r8ght buttons? Or a shutdown throgh the surges setting menu?
