Surge purple led

Help my surge has a purple led light and main screen not working have reset it is still the same

I've seen a few posts where this strange LED appears. The advice is normally that there's an issue with your Surge and you should contact customer support:

Thanks I sent Fitbit a tweet with the photo and also called them this morning I'm in Australia so it's inconvenient to call the USA as time zones different plus a high rate per minute but they are sending me a replacement unsure what is the problem but hopefully the new one is not the same after a few months
