So I had my phone paired with my fitbut surge, Which it went fine... then the time somehow was wrong today and I decided to unpair it and try and pair it again but... now that I unpaired it my fitbit surge still shows the time and how many steps I did etc. But when I go on the fitbit app and try and 'set up a device' it finds my surge but never connects just fails everytime.

I tried holding down the button + bottom right to "restart" nothing worked.

After restarting about 12 times, I finally got it to showup and connect to my phone and give the code. took me 3 different codes to pair but it finally works now, Syncing still takes really long though for some reason not to sure why that is. but the time on the watch is now correct to the actualy time!

Thanks for getting back @BenjiCS! Good to know that  your Surge is showing the correct time after all those steps; good job. Which model of phone are you using to connect? Also, remember to check always that both phone and Fitbit App are up to date. For Android phones confirm Permissions and leave location on to keep syncing with your phone, for more info check this suggestions.
