Surge strap

I bought Surge on April'2016. After 8 months, the strap was damaged and it was replaced by a new one. Thank you Fitbit for that.  Now I am using surge replacement for about 6 months and the strap starts bubbling up. It seems that there are some big pimples on my surge strap.  Is there any way to change the strap as the main unit is functioning very well?

Officially the strap is not replaceable. However, if you look around e.g. eBay you'll see straps for sale.

 

However, you'll also need some DIY skills. There are videos on YouTube that explain how you do it.

 

I assume you are now out of warranty - it runs for 12 months from the original purchase or 24 months if you are within Europe.
