Surge straps cracking

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.
Hi I've had my surge for a little over 6 months now and the straps are cracking where they attach to the body of the surge....

I notice that they are screwed in so I hope are easy to replace...

The one side is about to fall apart.....

Thanks

You should still be within warranty but you can check at www.fitbit.com/returns

If you are then you can contact customer support via the following link to discuss a replacement:

Sadly, straps cannot be replaced. You cannot just walk in to a repair shop and get new FitBit surge straps.

You get a new surge sent to you like I got one.

As long as FitBit is ok to send new Surges for cracked belts, who am I to complain?

I got my surge as a christmas present, it will be 3 months old tomorrow and yesterday I discovered a crack in the band at the screw. Hence me coming on here looking if there had been similar issues.

Pretty poor design and cant see the point in the screws if the stap cannot be replaced.

I have to take my hat off to fitbit. after my initial posting, I had an online chat with a nice lady called Norma, and the outcome is - A new surge has been despatched.

have had mine since Dec 2015, and my band has cracked and tearing from all 4 screws.
(I wear mine 24/7 and cover it with a sweat band when doing rough work like gardening and home maintenance)
I'm hoping I can send it in to have it repaired.
