I realize that firmware updates are always a mixed bag, but for me at least they've generally been no worse than two steps forward, one step back. That being said, there's a bunch of stuff that's come out on the Alta/Blaze, and since the Surge is still nominally the flagship product, the question is what might be coming to the Surge.

 

We got a firmware update about every 2-3 months for a while. Now that the Alta/Blaze have launched, are there any coming up for the Surge? Or are our trackers now left on the dustbin of Fitbit history?

"Wait and see" is all anyone can say. Like most companies, Fitbit are silent on future plans until those plans become reality. I will point out the the Flex has recently been updated, however, so I wouldn't start ruling anything out at this point.
