Surge sync help please

Hi

I am not getting anywhere with the help desk on this so wanted to ask the community

1. Can I sync my Surge with my IPhone 5c AND my iPad Pro via the iOS app? This does NOT seem to be the case? Got new iPad Pro
2. If I can, can I also continue to receive text and call notifications from my iPhone 5C?
iOS app works fine on iPhone and I receive text and call notifications. iOS app has connected via Bluetooth to Surge on iPad Pro but won't sync just keeps saying " looking"

thanks

Hope you're enjoying this beautiful day @anncjones! Congrats for your new iPhone. You can keep syncing and receiving call and text notifications with this one, since is in the list of compatible devices, just remember to check the requirement (iOS 😎 Robot LOL

Now, about your iPad Pro, I checked and it is not in the list. You can try to sync but it might have some issues connecting. Also we have to take into consideration that your iphone Bluetooth bonded with your Surge for you to get call and text notifications, so it might sync faster with your iPad Pro if you disconnect call and text notifications and delete the Surge from your iphone Bluetooth and pair it with your iPad. Smiley Frustrated

Honestly I don't think it's worth it, you take your iPhone with you all the time so in my opinion it's best to keep syncing via iphone only and you can keep the Fitbit App on your iPad with the Bluetooth off, in case that you want to take advantage of the bigger view that you have with that one, since the screen is bigger! Smiley Very Happy

Hope this helps! Let me know if you need anything else. Heart

I did wonder if it was because I receive text and call notifications on my iPhone but could not get that answer from support

Hope you're doing great @anncjones! I'd like to clarified the comment about compatibility. Ipad Pro is not in the list of supported devices, if you check the list won't find it there. It means that you can try to sync with his device but we can not assure it will sync all the time or even connect. Some users try and they successfully connect with not compatible devices. In your case you can do so and try but for better practices use your iPhone 5c to connect with Fitbit. Smiley Very Happy

About what happens with your iPhone when it bonds with your Fitbit Surge for call and text notifications. You can forget your Surge from the Bluetooth of your iPhone and disable call and text notifications from the Fitbit app when you're trying to connect it with other device, since your Surge is currently receiving the information from the phone so if you want to connect it with any other device it might have problems communicating. Thanks for the feedback about the Support section.
