I charged my fitbit surge last night and since I have unplugged the charger, it constantly thinks it is still charging. I'm not sure how to fix this. It keeps the device from searching for a pulse so it renders the HR functionality useless.

Try restarting it using this procedure:

It's much like rebooting a computer - it does no harm and can sort out all sorts of problems

@Maybel thanks for stopping by! I'd definitely give a try to what @SteveH is suggesting. Restarting your tracker can help with any glitch it may have at the moment. Let me know how it goes!
