My surge is not talking to me at each mile. I have this option turned on. I can see it in the app. Help

Presumably he found that the Surge has no speaker or other means to make noise. The "option" to turn on voice prompts is on the Fitbit app on one's phone. If you record an exercise using that app, you can have the option for voice prompts - from your phone - during a run, walk, or presumably, ride.
