Surge vs Zip

Interesting:

Little background first.  I am a sign language interpreter in the public schools.   So my hands are up and moving a lot during the day.  I also go from classs to class and that means I walk a lot.  But I've alway thought that my Surge was way to generous in step numbers, miles and calories.  So today I decided to also wear my Zip.  The Surge is on my dominate hand wrist (left), the Zip was clipped to my right side pants pocket.  Kept both on the ame amount of time during the day.   The difference was astounding!

Tomorrow, I'm going to wear the Surge on my non-dominate non signing hand and see what happens

Next Day.

3/31/16 - Moved Surge to non dominate (Right Hand), non signing hand ( for the school day)

Typical Day  - 2.5 mile run in the morning before school.  Walking from class to class, plus 30 minute lunch time walk.

So switching Surge to non signing hand really made a big difference.  Surge and Zip were fairly close today.   Interesting and fun experiment - hope this may help others that are active through out the day.

The wrist models always count more steps as it picks up all kind of movement your arms do.

It really isn't that many. At least on the second one.

Another thing to try is changing the settings. Like I wear mine on my Dominate Arm but have it set on Non-Dominate. Work well for me
