Surge won't charge

Battery shows as full on app but when I unplug the surge it dies within minutes.Never had a device so irritating

Hi, @Jase72, the app will only know the state of charge at the last sync.  How are you charging your Surge?  A computer USB port will usually only deliver charge while the computer is awake.  When plugged in, does it seem to be charging?

It's fully charged but dies within 30 seconds of unplugging.Was a birthday present So I'm pretty annoyed as we took the original fit bit back because it wouldn't charge at all the Alta and upgraded to this one.It can go back in the morning I'll have one last attempt and have a refund if any more trouble.Thanks for your reply

Clean contacts it's brand new out of the box.As for the restart I tried and it wouldn't do that either so it's going back .One last chance and I'll change for a tom tom

After all the trouble and seeing all the other problems i.e. Straps etc I've decided on a refund and change to a Garmin forerunner 35 .They have fantastic reviews and none of the problems associated with the Fit Bit.Thank you for all your help though much appreciated

Restart doesn't help as the instructions are for the Charge.
