So I was unable to sync so I decided to unpaired after all other solutions failEd to yield a resault (Bluetooth on and off, phone on an old, force stop app, wrist band on and off) then spent two hours trying to repair and finally accomplished this and it updated the app with today's progress however I'm back to square one where it will not sync...suggestions besides Un pairing?

It does not help. That is a shortened version of the trouble shooting I tried which did not give a fix.

Do you have location (GPS) turned on? With android 6.0 (marshmallow ) location needs to be enabled this is something Google implemented with marshmallow for bluetooth devices to sync. . Hope this helps.
