I have a fit bit surge it works fine but as I can not have a phone on ring while at work, the surge vibrates when phone is on normal mode to say text or phone notifications As come through but if I put phone on silent it doesn’t let me no about any text messages I have a iPhone 7 if this helps really want fit bit to work with notifications while phone is on silent

I do not have an iPhone, but if "silent" works anything like "do not disturb" on Android there is nothing you can do. The phone is preventing the notification.
