Tech "Support" ?

I need the serial number from my Surge and after searching the Community forum, the concensus seems to be it cannot be retrieved from the Dashboard. If you lost the box, as I did, you need to contact Tech Support which I did and told them I did not have the box. They responded by asking me to send a picture of the bar code on the bottom of the box.Smiley Frustrated

 

Seriously?

A warm welcome to the Community @lectric102002. It's weird to hear that support did that about the serial number. If you want to have your tracker's serial number you need to contact support one more time and ask them for it. I know the next advocate will be glad to help. For a faster response you can contact them via phone or chat.

I've contacted "support", as it's called, no less than three times. Every
time I get a canned response that was obviously cut and pasted. I told them
I did not have the box and needed the serial number. The response was "send
us a picture of the bar code on the bottom of the box". WTF ? do these
**ahem**s even read the emails? In another email, they asked me what issue I
was having and what was I trying to accomplish. I WANT THE FREAKING SERIAL
NUMBER !!! That's what I'm trying to accomplish.



Finally, in the last email, the "support" tech told me that they could not
share that information with me. Why the hell not ? It's my tracker, I own
it, and I have it in my possession.



I'm done with them. The are no help. I'm sorry I bought this **ahem** and I'll
certainly never own another one, nor will I recommend them to anyone.
