I recently went on vacation and went into another time zone. A sync on my Surge updated my time for that timezone. however, when I came home, it would not update. My Iphone is set to automatically update, and it did. My surge was set to automatically update, and it wouldn't. I shut down the phone and the watch. I closed the fitbit app. the only thing that fixed it was removing the surge device from the app and adding it back in. That is crazy and there must be a bug in the software. I noticed on this forum it has been an ongoing problem for quite some time.

Welcome to the Community @jjmoney. Thanks for troubleshooting this issue by yourself. If your tracker is showing an incorrect time, I recommend changing your timezone to a complete different one, sync your tracker, put the correct time and sync your tracker again.
You can change the timezone by doing the following from a computer:
1. Log into your fitbit.com dashboard and click the gear icon in the top right corner.
2. Select “Settings” from the drop-down menu.
3. Scroll down to the Time section and choose the time zone that best reflects your current location. You can also select 12-hour or 24-hour time display format here.
4. Sync your tracker to update your time zone.
I hope this helps, let me know the outcome. ![]()
