I cannot update my Surge. The screen still says 'let's get started' even though the watch is now on my account. I've removed the surge from my account and started again, I've used different os's, PC and laptops, Microsoft phone and my old iPad 2. When this didn't work I reset the phone, got my wife's cable and dongle and started again. Still I get the message unable to update.

Thanks for reading. Any suggestions?

@Lovetofence Welcome to the Fitbit Community! Probably your tracker was on a firmware update. Is it still stuck on that step? Are you still getting that message? You can try to restart your tracker and then follow these syncing steps for it to update.

Let me know how it goes! Smiley Very Happy

I've got it working. Got access to a Windows 7 PC, downloaded the app. and it worked. Seems Windows 10 has a problem with Fitbit software. Thanks for replying.

Welcome to the Community @Lovetofence! Is nice to see you have a Surge tracker. I'd like to know if you were able to set up your tracker using your Windows 10. If that is not the case, let me know if you're getting any error or message. Thank you @SantiR for your help!

Hi VivisFitbit,

I managed to register my Surge on an older version of Windows. It seems to be working fine now. I sync it regularly with my Microsoft phone.

Thanks for the reply,
Lovetofence.
