It's unknown what fitbit is up to.

Feel free to add your vote / comment to @weevic 's suggestion on the Feature Requests subforum:

The more votes increases the chance of the developers integrate the functionality.

Hello @SunsetRunner, and welcome to the Fitbit Family! Smiley Happy

Breathing sessions and cardio fitness are relatively new features introduced with the Fitbit Charge 2. Having them included in the Surge is a terrific idea. As @SunsetRunner kindly mentioned, there's currently a suggested idea from @weevic to implement this feature. Additionally, I've found a specific suggested idea to implement breathing sessons to the Surge by @SunsetRunner as well. Feel free to vote for it or add your comment to show your support, this is the best place to make your voice heard.

I agree, FitBit should definitely add guided breathing to Surge. Considering Surge is so freaking expensive there shouldn't be a single feature missing in it that cheaper models have.
