So i recently started using both strava and fitbit for my rides due to strava not having a HR tracker. Strava imports my fitbit data for the ride.
My question is has anyone done this before?
As well as when i look at the information imported from fitbit to strava its not the same as the information on my fitbit dashboard? For example distance and MPH will not be the same? and they are both coming from the fitbit?
I also see differences in fitbits elevation from strava's.
overall most of the data is off between both and i dont know which to believe, i tend to think fitbit is better with elevation
Fitbit 7.06mi, 12.8 MPH, 127HR, 380cal
Strava imported fitbit 7.2mi, 11.6MPH, 129HR, 188

Welcome to the Fitbit Community @Mikeems911, as far as I know the transferred data should be the same once it has synced from Fitbit to Strava, Before considering further options, try the following procedure to make sure the connection between both apps is working properly:
- Log in to your Fitbit dashboard
- Click the gear icon on the top right corner
- Click "Settings"
- Click "Applications" on the left side
- Click "Revoke Access" under the "Fitbit + Strava" app
- Go to https://strava.fitbit.com/ and click "Connect" and follow the rest of the prompts to finish reconnecting your Fitbit and Strava accounts.
This will unlink and then connect both apps again to restart the settings. I hope this helps, keep me posted.
