Spinning is not step based so steps will not be accurate. But people wear it around their ankle to capture more steps. But Heart rate will not be accurate

Buy a Garmin... Fitbit will give you a lot of problem who I and a lot of other have , as you can read about here....

I disagree @ingvar do a search of the Garmin help board. I have. You will find that many on the Garmin board or having issues with their devices. This is the point of a help board. 

That is exactly the reason for a help board that has been setup to provide help for the few that need help. 

Must of the many many users that are happy and have no issues will never post about their trackers are working fine. 

Some like my cousin simply searched the help board for their issue, found an answer and got back up.

I have now bought new strips on Amazon, ang it was ok, so I can use it again
