Hello @Micky007, welcome aboard to our community. Your post about your activity at the gym was not synced caught my attention. Is very odd that an activity is not synced with your Fitbit account. The only time I've seen this, is when the activity is not properly recorded and I'm sure this is not the case. I bet this was just a delay with the mobile app. I'm sure by now this activity is showing on your activity history. A good way to make sure an exercise was not synced, is to review your web based Dashboard. In some occasion the app takes some time to update the information after it was synced, this is because the data is not store locally but in the Fitbit servers.
Let me know how it goes, I'll be around.

Hey,
Ok so im bring this up again as yet again its happened!! 😞
I think i know whats going wrong though and you guys need to fix the issue. So yesterday i went to the gym but as i hadnt used my fitbit in over 3 weeks i forgot it needed charging, so i put it on charge and went to the gym without it. Today i took my fuly charged fitbit with me and did my workout at the gym. I then go to sync the fitbit to my phone and what do i see? that my workout hasnt been synced (AGAIN!). Its now been 30mins and its still not showing.
Then i remember after i finished the workout on my fitbit i noticed that the date is incorrect and it was showing like the 2nd of Jan. Which would make sense, 1st Jan being yesterday when it was turned on charging and the 2nd of Jan being today. So what i think is happening is when my fitbit loses battery and i charge it up it keeps displaying the incorrect date (somthing i never think about checking as why should i?). Then when i goes to sync im guessing its logging the workout but its logging it under the incorrect date (not sure what year the date was set to), and then once its synced the workout it then syncs the correct date. After the first sync i then did a 1min workout test, that synced fine to my app, im guessing because the fitbit now had the correct date and time from the first sync.
Can you guys confirm the steps of syncing as surely before syncing workouts you should sync the correct time/date to the fitbit so that any workout that just been done has the correct time/date so its logged properly.
This is very annoying as yet again i dont see my workout 😞

also im seeing somthing very strange on my web dashboard. Its saying i did the following excerise on the 2nd of July 2016:
Walk at Saturday, 2 July 2016, at 12:00PM
But i never did anything as like i said the last time i used my fitbit was a while ago, iv checked my fitbit app and on that date its showing 0 activity. So where has this come from?

Hi there @Micky007, my apologies for not seeing your post on time and thank you for keep me posted. In fact you are right. I've seen this happen when the battery drains off. I usually forgot to charge my tracker when the battery is low and when I realised the battery is gone. This does not happen often, but when the battery runs out is like the tracker loose the configuration of your Fitbit account. This might explain why your time was off the day you went to the gym. So I can confirm this can happen and the recommendation would be after the battery drains, charged it and sync to apply your Fitbit account configuration again to make sure your tracker has the correct time.
About the exercise you saw keep in mind the Surge also has the feature of SmartTrack so if you went for a brisk walk your tracker automatically will read your activity logging an exercise on your account. If you need more information about this feature please visit this link: SmartTrack announced for Surge and Charge HR.
How is it going so far? The issue still persist? let me know, I'llbe around.
