Hi there!
Is there a way for my yoga activity to be automatically synced on my dashboard to the active minutes? Right now I have to add it manually by clicking the add button in the dashboard, hit track exercise, select log, then yoga and then finally select add. I am using a Surge.
TIA!

Hope you're doing great @Goneflyfishing! Thanks for replying, I think that you're talking about the Active minutes. Your Surge calculate active minutes using metabolic equivalents (METs). For example, a MET of 1 indicates a body at rest. Fitbit trackers estimate your MET value in any given minute by calculating the intensity of your activity. You earn active minutes for activities at or above about 3 METs. Active minutes are only awarded after 10 minutes of continuous moderate-to-intense activity.
If an activity gives you active minutes one day and fewer active minutes the next day, remember that the intensity of exercise is key. Often what seems like the exact same amount of effort over the same distance in fact differs slightly enough to change your active minutes total. Your Surge does a better job of recognizing active minutes for non-step-based activities, such as weight lifting, strenuous yoga, and rowing. If your tracker doesn't have heart-rate sensing, your active minutes will be lower for non-step based activities.
The more calories you burn the higher your MET value, so therefore the more calories you burn the higher your total active minutes. Assuming you're active for at least 10 minutes at a time, green spikes on your calorie graph typically indicate that you’re earning active minutes.
This is the tile for Active Minutes:

A warm welcome to the Fitbit Community @Goneflyfishing! Yoga is a really cool activity, so relaxing. Why don't you add that activity to your Surge, in the Fitbit mobile app: tap Account > Surge > Exercise Shortcuts > Yoga. Then sync your Surge and you will have the option Yoga instead of using "Workout".
There is no option at this moment for your Surge to recognize Yoga activities automatically but you can submit it as a suggested idea in our Feature Suggestions board, where members of the Community can comment and vote for it so it can be implemented in a future update, this is the best way to make your voice heard.
I'll be around if you need anything else.

Thanks for getting back and sharing your experience @Goneflyfishing! Tha's very weird thing, your tracker not recognizing Yoga exercises. Please restart your tracker a couple of time and give a try again. I think that it might do the trick. In case that this doesn't solve the issue, let me know if you're able to see the stats at the end of the workout and check the information on your Dashboard online clicking on "Log" > "Activities" > see Activity History (use the date / steps / calories optios)
Hope it works!
