If you are doing an activity that does not require steps (like cycling or swimming), or an activity that requires more than just steps (like tennis or yoga), referring here to your gym classes. you can use the activity log to improve the accuracy of this activity's contribution to your caloric burn. By doing this you will reach your calories goal more easily.

Hello there @Daesy! Besides @RobertoME's advice there are other things you need to consider. Your Surge also provides calories burned just for being alive! That's what we call BMR, this is based on your gender, age, weight and height. If you're happy with the information entered on your Account Settings, rest assured that your calories count is accurate .
