display becomes cluttered and corrupt

My fit bit surge worked fine until I reset it (left button lower right).

Now the display becomes cluttered and corrupt

The minute finger leaves trails of itself so the display looks corrupt. When you swipe between the various screens remnants of the previous screen appear on the next swiped to screen .

Tried resetting it several times but it is still having problems

Sounds defective.

I would contact support. Let them know you have restarted it several times already

Took your advice and contacted Fitbit

A few questions and less than a week later a replacement watch arrived

Excellent service very helpful I can’t fault them
