Hi I bought fitbit surge in a attempt to monitor my exercise and calorie intake, however I drive for a living (8 hours a day) and all it does is count steps calories that I have not taken.
When I dont wear it,it add steps calories and stairs.
This watch is too sensitive.
For the price of the watch is it worth keeping.
I have tried some of the solutions (deleting stats thro add activity) but I would like to know if there are any others before I get completely disillusioned with the Surge.

@hampy16 Unfortunately I can't help with your issues but FYI. The Surge has been discontinued and replaced by the Ionic. Any warranty issues will be honored but that's about it. Just something to think about as you look for solutions. Good luck.

Could you tell me if the Ionic suffers from the same issues as the Surge.
I don't want to buy a watch just to wear it when I exercise.

@hampy The best way to know about the Ionic is to look thru the Ionic Forum. You find the good and the bad. Here's the link: https://community.fitbit.com/t5/Ionic/bd-p/ionic
