Absolutely ridiculous.  For the price, the aggravation I am experiencing trying to get this thing set up is outrageous.

 

My new surge is STUCK on the Configuration screen and after 2 hours of scouring the internet I cannot get a fix.

 

Will likely be returning tomorrow morning as soon as the store opens.

 

If you are considering the surge, DONT BUY. Overpriced paperweight.

This happened to me as well. I installed app for Windows 10as this is my OS and it would not sync. Installed app for PC (ie for windows 😎 and synced but with a different dashboard.
